Preparing for Your Personal Consultation
Meeting with a lawyer can be intimidating, especially if you’ve never worked with one before. At Legacy, APC, we want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your experience with us, starting with your initial consultation.
Your personal consultation is the first step in our relationship with you. It is a conversation designed to help us learn about you, your family, your concerns and your goals so we can recommend the planning or legal services that are right for you.
What to Bring
- Just yourself and any other decision-makers

What to Expect
- Your consultation will last up to 90 minutes, depending on the services you need
- Estate and Legacy Planning consultations conducted via Zoom
- We will ask you questions to learn about your family, your assets, your concerns and your goals.
- You will have plenty of time to ask us questions and discuss what matters most to you.
- At the end of the consultation, we will make a recommendation regarding the services and planning options we believe will best accomplish your goals.
For Probate & Trust Administration: bring a copy of the decedent’s Will or Trust Agreement.When you schedule your consultation, our team will let you know if there is any additional information or documentation you should bring.
Fees:
We often get asked about our fees for legal services. We believe in full transparency and no surprises.
At the end of your consultation, we will recommend the type of planning or legal services that best fit your needs and provide you with a flat fee quote, so you know exactly what your legal services will cost before you move forward.
We do not bill by the hour, and we do not add unexpected legal fees.
Please note that court costs, filing fees, and other administrative fees are separate from our legal fees and will be your responsibility.
